Refund policy

A failed paid analysis is not a completed service.

Updated 8 October 2026

When a refund is due

If the paid analysis cannot produce an output that passes the service checks, the service reports failure and initiates a full refund of the service fee to the original payer. Input rejected before payment is not charged a service fee.

What is refunded

The refund covers the service fee paid for that call. Network fees and charges made by your wallet or other providers are separate. Refunds are bound to the original payer and cannot be redirected to another address.

Pending versus confirmed

A refund_due or refund_pending state means the refund has not yet been confirmed. Treat funds as returned only when the service reports refunded with a confirmed onchain receipt. Network or token restrictions may delay confirmation.

Timeouts and recovery

If a response is interrupted, check the same call with the original request key. Do not assume it failed or purchase again automatically. If the operator is unavailable, an open vault can be refunded after its onchain completeBy deadline; the caller of that fallback transaction pays network gas.

After successful delivery

Deleting the delivered result is part of the advertised privacy lifecycle, not a new processing failure. A vault that has completed fee finalization cannot refund its service fee through the contract. Keep the result and financial references in your application.
